Chose a moving company to go to Mexico. Not the least expensive quote, but I'm comfortable with the amount of money that I'll be paying AND with their reputation. The other front-runner had more BBB complaints. And one company's quote was just ludicrous.
Now comes more interior painting (just a wee tiny bit), a few more repairs, and house-on-market.
I got my questions about my household-goods import list, and I can work with my local consulate rather than flying to the consulate where I got my temporary resident visa. I have to create that list, which is a little daunting because I don't want to risk missing things. But I'm the one who has to do it, I can't outsource that.
I still haven't mowed the lawn - there were too many damp days the past two weeks, and our sunny-day sprint is very nearly over. But things are moving! This is the first point in three months that I've felt a big sense of accomplishment and progress.
