Contentment via proxy

I've been having a rough couple of months. Things may settle a bit in a month or two, but it's going to be a bumpy spring.

For joy in my life: I have my cats. I have my books. And several friends are having Very Good (or at least Exceedingly Pleasant) things happen in their lives, and I'm enjoying their good fortune. That's helping me stay on an even keel.

(That, and blasting Front 242 while I'm coding/cleaning/handling tedium.)
